Abstract

The random- block experimentation was designed to study the effects of different soil improvement measures on the yield and quality of flue- cured tobacco. The results showed that: under the condition of conventional fertilization,in comparison with the control, the treatment of reducing the application rate of tobacco- special compound fertilizer by 20% plus increasing the application rate of biological organic fertilizer by 50 kg /667 m2 could increase the first- class tobacco ratio and production value of flue- cured tobacco by 18. 18% and 10. 15%,respectively; the treatment of increasing the application rate of biological carbon by30 kg /667 m2 could increase the first- class tobacco ratio and production value by 15. 57% and 9. 79%,respectively; in these two treatments, the proportion of chemical composition contents in tobacco leaves was harmonious, and the sensory quality was better.Under conventional fertilization,in the treatment of increasing the application rate of biological organic fertilizer by 50 kg /667 m2,because of excessive nitrogen supply, although the yield of flue- cured tobacco was the highest, the production value was decreased; all characters of flue- cured tobacco in the treatment of applying microbial agent were slightly worse than those in the control.
