Abstract
Using axillary bud explants,we studied the browning control in tissue culture of Eleutherococcus senticosus. The results showed that the browning could be obviously inhibited by the treatments with 75% alcohol 40 s and 0.1%HgC12 8 min.The supplying of 1 000 mg·L~ vitamin C could prevent the browning. WPM+1.0 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.1 mg·L~(-1) NAA in medium had little effects on the inhibition of browning. The treatments with 15 mg·L~(-1) sugar,5 d dark culture and 15 d transferring culture bottle could inhibit browning to some extent.
