Abstract
Magnetorheological(MR) fluid shock absorber is an ideal device for application to semi-active vibration control.The property of the MR fluid shock absorb was tested,and the force-displacement and force-velocity characteristics of the shock absorb by various vibration condition and input voltage were analyzed.The experiment results demonstrate that the MR fluid shock absorber posses good damping controllability,and it is the ideal element of energy dissipation and vibration control for ambulance.
