Abstract

The Song Dynasty,which offered a special historical background for the scholar-bureaucrats of the time,helped to form their unique personality structure and spiritual world.Their views on the historical figures were strikingly different from those of their predecessors,and their acceptance of Guan Zhong represented a subversive change.The foothold of their reinterpretation of Guan Zhong was representative of the criticism perspective in the Song Dynasty of Records of the Historian.
