Abstract
By gathering local records, collected works, and other data concerned, this paper investigates in detail WANG Guan's origin, native place, compellation and personal record. The paper concludes that Wang Guan, a famous poet in North-Song Dynasty, was born probably in the year of 1032, that he was a few years older than SHU Shi, and that he passed away when he was in his fifties.
