Abstract
Setting up rat model of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) by using Methylnitronitrosoguanidine(MNNG) and alcohol,to observe the effect of Yangwei Granule(YWG)on gastric mucosa, prostaglandin E 2(PGE 2),somatostatin(SS) and plasma Motilin(MOT).Results:YWG could alter the structure of gastric mucosa, increase the level of PGE 2 and SS as compared with the control group ,the difference being significant (P 0.05), while that of MOT was not significant(P 0.05). Conclusion:YWG can protect the gastric mucosa and repair its damage by regulating the secretion of gastrointestinal hormone.
