Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of curcumin on proliferation of human Tenon capsule fibroblast in vitro. Methods The CCK-8 method was used to assay the activity of human Tenon capsule fibroblast at 24 h,48 h,72 h and 96 h after treated with 10,20,40,80 μg/ml curcumin in vitro. Results The activity of human Tenon capsule fibroblast at 24 h,48 h,72 h and 96 h after treated with 10,20,40,80μg/ml curcumin was inhibited significantly compared with the control and it was dose-dependent and time-dependent.Conclusion The proliferation of human Tenon capsule fibroblast was inhibited significantly by curcumin.
