Abstract
A new oil-based mud micro-imager(OBMI) could compensate the drawbacks of not collecting resistivity logging imaging data in oil base mud and synthetic mud drillings and captured borehole scanning images.By using OBMI logging interpretation it could determine the sedimentary energy, sedimentary structure, palaeocurrent direction and sand body extension direction to study sedimentary facies. It provides guidance for the exploration and development of oil and gas fields.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
