Abstract
Field trials were conducted to investigate the dynamics of accumulation of plant dry matter, nitrogen uptake and utilization, biomass and yield of maize and konjaku under the condition of tow system Intercropping. The results showed that the obvious facilitation maize increased 12%~50% and 10%~26% respectively, compared with those monocroped maize. The nitrogen uptake amount and biomass of intercropped konjaku were 9%~37% and 18%~39% lower than those monocroped konjaku.Maize was the dominant species with more competitive ability as indicate by competition ratio of maize to konjaku.
