Abstract
A type of novel non-ionic Gemini surfactant was synthesized from dimer which was obtained from nonyl-phenyl and formaldehyde. The total yield was 20%.The structure of the Gemini surfactant was characterized by IR and 1H NMR.Critical micelle concentration and surface tension of the Gemini surfactant in aqueous solution was tested by Wilhelmy-Plate method.i.e.CMC=0.003 4 mmol/ L,γCMC=35.18 mN/m.Compared to the conventional surfactant, the CMC is enhanced 100 times.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
