Abstract
With p nonylphenol and formaldehyde as raw materials, bis (2 hydroxy 5 nonyl phenyl)methane was prepared at 80 ℃ with catalyst, and reacted with epichlorohydrin under alkaline condition to afford the intermediate SM.Then at 60 ℃ in isopropyl alcohol the intermediate SM reacted with triethanolamine hydrochloride to afford a gemini surfactant, structure of which was characterized by elementary analysis and IR.The total yield was 41.4%.Critical micelle concentration and surface tension of the gemini surfactant in aqueous solution were determined,i.e. cmc=0 04 mmol/L, γ cmc =20 4 mN/m.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
