Abstract

Guided by historical materialism and based on Marxism people-oriented thought,DENG Xiao-ping's people-oriented thought enriches and develops MAO Ze-dong's people-oriented thought by summarizing the contemporary practice experience.It probes into the essence of socialism with people-oriented as the measure of value.It regards people's interests as the basic criteria.It guarantees the owner position of the people through system innovation and promotes individual development through social development,which are the obvious characteristics of the times and the practice.
