Abstract

An improved method of changing element conductivity matrix is adopted to simulate the slope seepage field based on the two dimensional(2D) unconfined seepage principle.The seepage force of soil elements is calculated to supersede the pore-pressure around one element to analyze the stability of soil slope under seepage through strength reduction finite element method.The calculation of example indicates that this approach is feasible.
