Abstract

In this paper,ANSYS/LS-DYNA3D finite element analysis software is used to do numerical simulation and comparison analyses of the whole process of vertical penetration armor for three projectile of different nose section radius.According to the penetration velocity's change curve diagram of the projectile,we can see that, the conclusion of the paper is extraordinary coincided with the penetration process described in the reference[2],this proved that the numerical simulation used in this paper is correct.
