Abstract
As the general attributes and characteristics in an era,modernity has rich ideological implication.It is different from the times and traditional society in all fields of the modern economic,cultural and political changes.From a philosophical rational perspective to examine a relatively traditional society and its times in terms of modernity,it highlights its technical rational hubris,and a variety of modern forms influenced by technical rationality are at a deeper level.For modern economic rationality demonstrated by the market-oriented standardization,rational consumption of modern culture,entertainment and fashion,modern political rationality of democracy,freedom and order,and so on,they all have the inner source of technological rationality.
