A Tentative Analysis of Chinese Cultural Construction of Sustainable Development

The seventeenth National People's Congress of People's Republic of China put forth strategy of cultural development-construct cultural soft power in its report; meanwhile, the strategy of sustainable is also national essential strategy; these two strategies can be promoted by cultural construction of sustainable development. There are a lot of sustainable aspects in our traditional and modern culture, based on which sustainable development can be constructed; as part of advanced culture, culture of sustainable development has always been what party pursues. Under current circumstance, we should establish overall value objective of cultural construction of sustainable development, develop traditional thoughts of sustainable development with guidance of scientific outlook of development, popularize knowledge of sustainable development, advocate green consumption, develop green science and technology, set up monitoring and legal guarantee system for cultural construction of sustainable development, in order to promote it.
