Abstract

Pingsheng Bridge in Foshan City is a self-anchored suspension bridge with a single span, single tower, four cable planes and with a main span 350 m.The type of the Bridge is structurally novel and construction is technically challenging. In this paper, the construction methods for the system transformation of the suspension bridge are described.
