Abstract
OBJECTIVE HPLC method was used to determine the content of baicalin and forsythin in Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid.METHODS The chromatograph to determine baicalin consisted of Kromasil ODS column(4.6mm×150mm,5μm) with temperature 40 ℃ at the detective wavelength of 280nm, the mobile phase was methanol-water-phosphoric acid(55∶45∶0.2) with the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1.The chromatograph of forsythin Kromasil ODS column(4.6mm×150mm,5μm)with mobile phase of acetonitrile-water(25∶75),the detective wavelength was 277nm,the flow rate was 0.8 mL·min-1.RESULTS Baicalin showed a good linear relationship at the range of 24.85~198.8 mg·L-1, forsythin liked that at the range of 0.496 ~3.472 μg, the average recovery of baicalin was 101.1%, and that of forsythin was 1.83%.CONCLUSION The method was simple,quick,accurate and had good precision,it can be used to control the quality of Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid.
