Abstract
Spectrophometric method using DPPH as free radicals in order to find natural anti-oxidation or scavenging acticity on free radicals.The results showed that extracts of peanut shell and some fractions isolated from the rehizomes of Dioscorea opposita thunb have obviously scavenging effect on free radicals,but the others such as crude polysaccharide from the rehizomes of Dioscorea opposita thunb,saponins from Achyranthes bientata showed no noticeable scavenging effect on free radicals when scanned by the methods used in this experimental.
