The Temples and Inscriptions of the Liao and Jin Dynasty in Xuan-nan District

The Liao and Jin dynasty was an important period during the history of Beijing,it also can be demonstrated through the development of Buddhism and the temple construction.However,the research is very difficult for the historical documents lost seriously in this period.The inscription is an important recordation of the temple's gradual changes,the same applies to Beijing during the Liao and Jin dynasty.This paper intends to tease out the general picture of the temple's transition through the historical information of the inscriptions during the Liao and Jin dynasty.
