Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of selective hepatic arteriography and embolization in giant hepatic hemangioma.Methods 13 cases with clinical symptom were selected to selective hepatic arteriography by femoral catheterization,and embolic with lipiodol-ultrafluida and pingyangmycin.Results As a result,after embolization,the clinical symptoms of all cases disappeared in two weeks~one months,and followed by 3~12 months,the tumour was decreased25%in 10 cases,and decreased25%in 3 cases,the total effective rate was 76.9%.The postoperative reactions were slight,and no severe complications.Conclusion Our findings suggested that selective hepatic arteriography and embolization is a good method of treatment in giant hepatic hemangioma.
