Abstract
To detect arsenic content in drinking water in every district of Nongshishi area,and to investigate if there is endemic arsenic poisoning existing. In all districts of the area,12 groups,pits,all drinking water sources including shallow wells, deep wells,sea and rivers have been investigated for the content of the arsenic. In all the 12 districts and mining area,the content of arsenic in drinking water is below 0.05mg/L in average. It is under the maximum permissible limit.
