Abstract

Objective: To observe the efficacy of MEBO in treating craniofacial and neck burn. Method: 31 cases with 38 deep II degree burn wounds were treated with MEBO. The efficacy was observed and followed up for 3 months. Result: All the wounds healed by 1 st intention. Only one case has scattered non-hyperplastic scar formed in 2 positions. The scar formation rate was 5.25%. Conclusion: MEBT can promote the regeneration, repair and physiological healing of deep II degree burn wounds. It can also reduce the scar formation rate.
