Abstract
The principle of diplogging was discussed in brief, its application in geology was introduced, the data of diplogging were used for studying the direction of in-situ stress, formation structure, paleocurrent direction and the distribution of sedimentary facies belt.Study result shows that Majiazui structure is situated in thrust fault, its deviated direction is about SW, fracture is not grown in the tectonic area. The main sedimentary environment is delta front and delta underwater channel sand and branched channel mouth bar.
