Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a method using HPLC for determination of the content of phenol in Yishengukang pills.METHODS Kromasil KR100-5C18(4.6mm×250mm,5μm) column was used.The mobile phase was methanol-water(70∶30)at a flow rate of 0.8 mL·min-1.The detection wavelenghth was 274nm and the column temperature was 30℃.RESULTS The calibration curve of paeonol was linear(r=0.9990,n=6) in the range of 0.10012~2.0024μg.The average recovery was 97.34% and RSD was 0.8%(n=6).CONCLUSION This method is accurate,simple,sensitive and reliable and it can be used as the quality control of Yishengukang pills.
