Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of setraline on post-stroke depression(PSD).Methods A total of 50 patients with PSD were randomly divided into medicine group(n=28) and control group(n=22).The patients in the control group received physical therapy while the patients in the medicine group received an additional setraline treatmeng. All patients were assessed with Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) before and after treatment. Results HAMD score in the medicine group improved remarkably after both 2-week and 4-week setraline treatment(P0.05).Conclusion Setraline remarkably improves the conditions of patients with PSD.
