Abstract

In recent years,with a widely use of variety advanced technology,intelligence has become the inevitable trend for the development of future power grid clearly.As an important foundation for the construction of the smart power grid equipment,Smart meter is very significant for accelerating the speed of development of the smart power grid.This article introduces the application status of smart meter in the smart power grid,and analyzs the requirements and development influence of smart power grid on smart meter.Smart meter is moving toward modular,systematic,and network.
