Abstract
Objective To investigate the advatages of multi-tumor marker protein chip assistance diagnostic system for screening over 10 kinds of cancers and the its specificity and sensitivity in detection of non-cancer subjects and healthy persons. Methods The 12 tumor markers (AFP, CEA, NSE, CA125, CA153, CA242, CA199, PSA, f-PSA, FER, β-HCG, and HGH) in the sera of 4000 healthy persons and 2000 patients with benign tumor of inflammation were detected by using the multi-tumor marker protein chip assistance diagnostic system. Results The sensitivity of the multi-tumor marker protein chip assistance diagnostic system was higher in detection of the 12 tumor markers than that in detection of a single tumor marker and its specificity in detection of healthy persons was 95.9%.and the tumor-detecting rate during health check-up was 0.29%. Conclusion The tumor detecting rate of the multi-tumor marker protein chip assistance diagnostic system in joint detection is higher than that of single detection in addition to a relatively higher possessing rate in screening healthy persons.
