Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation on patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods Seventy-three patients with OSAHS were treated with low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation.Apnea-hypopnea index(AHI),the total time of apnea,snoring index,arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2) and Epwonh sleepiness score were observed and compared preoperative and postoperative six months.Results Compared with before treatment,AHI,the total time of apnea,snoring index and epwonh sleepiness score significantly decreased(P0.05),SaO2 was higher(P0.05) at six months after treatment.Among 73 cases,the effect was excellent in 43(58.9%) cases,good in 25(34.3%) cases,useless in 5(6.8%) cases,the total effective rate was 93.2%.Conclusion Using low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation to treat OSAHS is effective,and it has fewer side effects.
