Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of plasma radiofrequency ablation at low temperature on obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods:Forty-nine patients with OSAHS, including 21 mild,7 middle,11 serious were treated the soft palate,uvula,root of tongue and tonsil with plasma radiofrequency,then evaluated the effect after 12 weeks and 24 weeks. Results: The effective rate was 81.63%(12 weeks) and 83.67%(24 weeks ),respectively. AHI was 48.46 ±5.27 before operation,22.13±4.64 at 12 weeks later(P0.05), 19.77±5.19 at 24 weeks later(P0.05).Conclusion: This technique has the advantages of safety ,easily operating,good recovery,mild lesion.
