Abstract

The analysis of the moving route of No.0016 typhoon 'Wukong' concluded that the turning to the west and landing of this typhoon on Hainan is caused by the block of cold air. In addition, analysis of the causes for rainstorm and its physical quantity field is made to find out the weather conditions favorable for the generation of rainstorm.
