Abstract

Zhu Yuanzhang was a wise emperor. He ruled during the flourishing-age at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty with clean politics and stable social order. He regarded the working people as the foundation of his empire and initiated learning from history. He was active in making laws to regulat his mandarins. He advocate strict enforcement of laws, setting a good example to the governing of a feudal couutry.
