Status and conservation countermeasures of orchid resources in Karst forest ecosystem in Yuntai mountain of Guizhou province

Through field investigation,specimen identification and data collection,found that there were orchids of 18 genera and 28 species(including subspecies) in Shibing county,South Guizhou Yuntai mountain forest ecological system.According to the resource status and biological characteristics of wild orchidaceous plants in Yuntai mountain,aiming at the orchid conservation problems,analyzed the otherman-made threats including over excavation,deforestation,land reclamation,and from maintaining mechanism of orchid plants in Yuntai mountains,put forward the protection and conservation countermeasures.At the same time,the life of wild orchidaceous plants in this area were classified,for the development and conservation of orchids in this area,providing a scientific basis for Yuntai mountain as Shibing County,the South China Karst Second World Natural Heritage project.
