Abstract
Objective To explore the changes in corneal endothelium after the treatment of central serous choroidoretinopathy and diabetic retinop- athy by using the 532 nm laser. Methods The corneal endothelium microscope was used to observe the corneal endothelium of the eyes which had been subjected to the treatment by using the 532 nm laser. Results There was no significant correlation between pre-and postoperative central and 6 o'clock periphery of corneal endothelium 7, 14 and 21 days after central serous choroidoretinopathy treatment(P0.05);there was also no significant correlation between pre-and postoperative central and 6 o'clock periphery of corneal endothelium 14 and 21 days after diabetic retinopathy treatment(P0.05). Conclusions The treatment of central serous choroidoretinopathy and diabetic retinopathy by using the 532 nm laser will not induce the statistically significant damage to the corneal endothelium.
