Abstract

The theory of spring and autumn to be established is an unusual content of the structure of political theories in Han dynasty. Its major thesis is that the emperors of Han dynasty ought to unify the whole country. The theory includes two aspects: one is to unity politics,the other is to seek unity of thinking. It is an objective outcome or demand that Qin and Han Empire have been established, which not only provides the powerful thinking weapon to strengthen and centralize imperial power for Han dynasty, but also brings the most important action into full play for the maintaining and consolidating Chinese unity in ancient times.
