US Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism and Its Reference Value for China

Abstract

This paper tries to analyze the development and characteristics,the concept and value,and the role and function of Alternative Dispute Resolution( ADR) of the United States,clarifies its advantages and limitations that can not be ignored in the process of dispute resolution to foster strengths and avoid weaknesses,in order to integrate ADR into contemporary China' s legal system.
