Abstract

Tundish service life at Handan Steel CSP caster was prolonged to meet the production requirement of larger sequence casting number.Measures were taken such as improvement on tundish lining,flow control of liquid steel and other functional refractory materials.Sequence number was enhanced from 14 heats to over 24 heats.
