Rherapeutic efficacy of Liuweiwuling tablets combined with other Chinese herbs on 30 liver cirrhosis cases

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Liuweiwuling tablets combined with other Chinese herbs for four different syndrome types of liver cirrhosis cases. Methods Total of 57 cases with liver cirrhosis were randomly divided into two groups: the therapeutic group(30 cases) were treated with Liuweiwuling tablets and other Chinese herbs based on syndrome differentiation;while the control group(27 cases) were treated with Chinese herbs alone. Three months were taken as a period of treatment and 2-3 periods should be completed. After therapy,the total effective rate,liver function indexes,hepatic and splenic B ultrasound indexes were observed. Results All the indexes in the treatment group are better than that in the control group. Conclusions Liuweiwuling tablets combined with other Chinese herbs have a positive curative effect for liver cirrhosis cases.
