Therapeutic effect of Liuweiwuling tablets on chronic hepatitis B

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Liuweiwuling tablets on chronic hepatitis B(CHB) .Methods Total of 115 cases with CHB were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group(60 cases) were treated with Liuweiwuling tablets(3 tablets three times a day) besides the antiviral drugs;the control group(55 cases) were only treated with antiviral drugs.The course of the treatment was 24 weeks.The clinical symptoms and liver function indexes were observed.Results The clinical symptoms and liver function of both groups were improved and the effective rate of the treatment group(95.0%) was better than the control group(80.0%) (P 0.05) .Conclusions Liuweiwuling tablets can improve clinical symptoms,protect liver function,inhibit hepatitis B virus,relieve the liver inflammation and necrosis and treat hepatic fibrosis for chronic hepatitis B patients.
