Abstract

To study the success rate of trabeculectomy in late primary glaucoma Methods 34 patients (36 eyes) were treated by tra beculectomy with using mitomycin C intraoperatively,and they were followed up for 17.5 months Results The intraocular pressure was less than 21 mmHg in 33 eyes , with a total succes rate of 91.7%, and thepostoperative complications were less Conclusions Trabeculectomy withusing mitomycin C is an effective method in management of late primaryglaucoma.
