Abstract
The current specification for reinforced earth retaining wall is mainly adapted to the plastic or steel-plastic belt.ctually,the widespread application for geogrid in current engineering construction lacks for correlated theory and method.Form the interaction mechanism with geogrid and soil,the text mainly introduces the design about reinforced retaining wall with geogrid.Using the soil theory of Rankine、Coulomb and Boussinesq etc.and consulting the foreign experience about engineering application for geosynthetics,the paper presents the design methods and formulas for the internal and external stability about the geogrid reinforced earth retaining wall and gives an application example.
