Abstract
According to the reinforcing mechanism and the clay tensile crack, the location and shape of cracking surface behind the geogrid reinforced earth retaining wall are reasonably assumed. Stating from the integral strength characteristic of reinforced earth, this paper presents the formulas for the internal and external stability about the geogrid reinforced earth retaining wall.
