Abstract

Objective To investigate the levels of proadreno medullin N terminal 20 peptide(PAMP)in patients with coronary heart disease and the changes of coronary circulation in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods64 patients with coronary heart disease were studied.16 patients with AMI, 20 patients with UA, 18 patients with SA and 20 patients excluding coronary heart disease(control) were studied.Blood samples were collected during percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) from peripheral circulation、aortic root(Ao) and coronary sinus(CS), and the concentrations of PAMP were measured respectively.ResultsThe concentration of PAMP in patients with CHD increase is significantly in peripheral circulation and coronary sinus, and the concentration of PAMP in coronary sinus were higher than that of peripheral circulation and aorta(P 0.01), There was remarkable statistic difference among UA, AMI and SA, control groups(P 0.01), and so between AMI and UA group(P 0.01) in peripheral circulation and coronary sinus. Conclusion PAMP may be involved in the process of pathophysiology in patients with coronary disease and may be one of the protective mechanisms to the stabilization of organism internal environment.
