New Cognition of Devonian-Carboniferous Strata in Ahaqi,Xinjiang

Abstract

In Aheqi of Xinjiang,the Paleozoic emergence strata are mainly Devonian and carboniferous,belongs to south Tianshan stratigraphic division which is further divided to Kuokeshaleling and maidantawu area. Kuokeshaleling area includes Apadaerkang formation and Tuogemaiti formation. Maidantawu area includes Ayilihe formation and Kelazhierjia formation. By measuring the stratigraphic section of survey area in detail,based on previous studies,combined with new knowledge,we decide to reconsider the sequence of the surveyed area Paleozoic rock strata,transformed the Apadaerkang formation stratification,renamed ayilige formation.
