Abstract

Objective To study the surgical treatment of hypertensive intraventricular hemorrhage in order to improve the curative effect and the survival quality of these patients. Methods To select suitable methods of operation to treat 72 patients with hypertensive intraventricular hemorrhage according to the patients' conditions. Results Of 72 cases, survival 45 cases,38 cases had been followed up for 6 months to 1 year. The prognoses of patients were assessed by ADL:Ⅰ 8 cases,Ⅱ 13 cases,Ⅲ 9 cases,Ⅳ 6 cases,Ⅴ 2 cases, dead 27 cases. Conclusion It is the most important for surgical treatment of hypertensive intraventricular hemorrhage to evacuate hematomas and recover normal circulation of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)and intracranial pressure (ICP) as soon as possible.
