Abstract

Xin An school is forming during the late Ming and early Qing periods.As a banner of this school,Jian Jiang ventured that heaven and earth is my teacher.With the thoughts on paintings,he not only led the school into prosperity but also influenced the aesthetic orientation of literati paintings since Qing dynasty.Though three hundred years have passed,the remnant's spirit,the scholar's personality,the detached feeling and the creative spiritual character in his poems and paintings still glitter today.
