Abstract
The fault diagnosis expert system has been designed in allusion to the characteristics of hydraulic system fault of some missile in this paper.And focus on the overall structure and knowledge base of design and knowledge representation and reasoning of the expert system.The system is rule-based production system,and relation schema is used to describe the knowledge base.The database method has been used to store and manage the knowledge base.The system has adopted the module design plan to improve the property of knowledge base.and it is easy to manage and maintain.
