Abstract
In this paper,the fault diagnosis problems of military electrical apparatus mechanism are investigated using expert system based on the database.We focus on representation of diagnosis knowledge and inference engine.The knowledge base is built by means of the database,which is convenient to store and manage knowledge,improves the property of knowledge base management,and surmounts the limitation that an expert system can not use knowledge base effectively.We use forward chaining and backward chaining in inference engine.The experimental results demonstrate that this system is an effective fault diagnosis method.
