‘Qiutian’,a new late ripening peach cultivar

Qiutian is a new late ripening peach cultivar which is derived from the cross between Qiuhuang as female parent and Bankoubai as male parent.The clingstone fruits are round in shape,weighting 240 g in average.Flesh is white and succulent,melting with an average soluble solids content of 15.3% to 16.3%,and it is of good eating quality.The fruits have higher storability and can be stored at room temperature for 7 d.It ripens in mid-to-late August in Zhengzhou and has high yield.
