Abstract
The process of electroless nickel plating on the micro-arc oxidation ceramics of the magnesium alloy was tried through studying the influence of plating temperature and time on deposition speed, analyzing the morphology and components of the coating and the adhesion to ceramic matrix, testing the coating corrosion and abrasion performance. The result shows that medium phosphorus coating with average thickness of about 35 μm can be prepared in nickel sulfate system solution at 80 ℃ for 60 min.The coating is compact and uniform, and engages with the surface of ceramic layer. The nickel coating has good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance.Nickel deposit is good for sealing on ceramic coating.
